Which file to download:
    macos-app.dmg	includes JRE... move this app to where you'd like to install it.
    macos-install.dmg	osx installation script. (deprecated).

    unix-without-JRE.sh	Script for 'installing' on linux.  
			After downloading this file you will need to
			change the execution privileges to user
			executable before running the script.

    unix-with-bundled-JRE.sh Script for installing on linux variants.
    		        contains an appropriate JRE.  As with above,
			you will need to 'chmod' this file before execution.

    windows32-with-JRE.exe     Installer for windows 32 bit machines.
    			this has an old JRE but it should work OK.

    windows32-without-JRE.exe  Installer for windows 32 bit machines.

    windows-x64-with-JRE.exe Installer for window 64 bit machines.

    SimSmith.jar        for those who maintain their own
      			Java Runtime Environment (JRE).  This
			can run differently than an installation
			using the bundled JRE because different JREs
			can have different bugs.

			I cannot recommend any specific JRE.

    md5sums.txt         MD5 checksums to ensure your download
    			is uncorrupted.


    pdfs                Up to date documentation is built in
			to SimSmith under the 'Help' menu.

                        This directory contains both old and new
                        documents.  Old documents are provided
                        to help understanding of older circuits.
